Canterbury Festival

The squad consisted of Edward Faiers, Harry Dean, Jim Duncan, Ryan Morton, Bella Reina, Charley Pepper, Lucio Decicco, Thomas Stroud, Max Pickering, Eli Baker and Will Pierce.

They were pooled with Sittingbourne, Canterbury, Ashford and Cranbrook. Unfortunately Sittingbourne failed to show but this did not detract from the rugby that was played and enjoyed by the whole squad.

They came out winners in all three of their games, beating Ashford 5 - 4, Canterbury 4 -1 and Cranbrook 6 - 4.

Try scorers were Edward Faiers (6), Harry Dean (5), Thomas Stroud (2), Ryan Morton (1) and Bella Reina (1).

The performance overall was really good with some excellent running and good defensive work with a special mention for Bella Reina for some superb tagging.

Coming so early in the season this bodes well for the rest of the season, especially with so many other youngsters yet to come of age.
