Will Mead converted. 7-0. A quick restart followed by a crashing try from Dylan Barnes who ran the length of the pitch. Unfortunately Will Mead was unable to convert. 12-0. The restart saw a powerful scrum enable play to be taken up into Sittingbourne’s half. Folkestone lost a line out and their play was halted by another penalty. Sittingbourne won the scrum but failed to hang on to the ball and Folkestone’s superior passing culminated in a lovely try from Freddie Faiers. Will Mead secured a tricky conversion. 19-0.

A scrappy restart led to Folkestone conceding a scrum but Tom Whelan balanced the books by taking out five players on his own and enabling Tiarnon Canning to go crashing over the try line. Will Mead was unable to convert from a tricky angle. 24-0.

After the restart Tom Whelan secured the ball and surged straight up field and between the posts. The try was superbly converted by Will Mead. 31-0. A lovely take by Johnnie Hobbs after the restart gained Folkestone much ground but ill-discipline gave Sittingbourne a scrum. Folkestone redeemed themselves with fluid play between Tom Whelan, Tiarnan Canning and finally Will Rayner to ground a super try under the posts. Unfortunately Johnnie Hobbs was unlucky to miss the conversion. 36-0.

Freddie Faiers streaked through to the try line and Will Mead converted. 43-0. However after the restart Sittingbourne caught Folkestone napping and booted the ball up field. Folkestone’s defence was ready though and Dylan Barnes cleared into touch to end the first half. 43-0.

A determined Sittingbourne started the second half and took play up into Folkestone’s 22. However, this was short-lived with some excellent defending and passing by Folkestone which in turn saw Harry Curtis go over line under the posts. Will Mead secured the extra points with a super conversion. 50-0.

A lovely take by Theo Dillon and some nifty moves by Dylan Barnes were scuppered by Folkestone conceding a penalty scrum to Sittingbourne. Sittingbourne then capitalised on some scrappy play by Folkestone and took the ball back into Folkestone’s half. Folkestone conceded yet another penalty which was taken quickly by Sittingbourne but Folkestone’s defence held allowing them to benefit from a scrum. Good tackling by Will Rayner and Tom Whelan gave Ted Bean the opportunity to stretch his legs and clear the line for a score. Dylan Barnes was unable to complete the conversion. 55-0.
