4TH October 2015 Report from Paul Turner

Start of the first half showed signs of a terrific match
Canterbury lads catching Folkestone napping run in a well deserved try.
From the restart the Folkestone lads moved up a gear and started to take it back to the Canterbury lads with Freddie Faiers scoring the first of his 4 tries of the day to bring Folkestone level with James Hughes converting to take the boys ahead
With the first half finishing at the 7 – 5.

The game restarted and that’s when it all changed
Unfortunately due to an injury from a crunching tackle the Canterbury boys lost their link pin at fly half
After a long break the second half was restarted, due to Canterbury having to reshape their backs along came the opportunities for the Folkestone backs to exploit the gaps.
With further 3 tries from Freddie Faiers, and 1 each for Tom Whelan and Will Rayner plus James Hughes converting a further 4 tries.
The boys went on to win their 4th game 40 – 5
