Folkestone U14 53 Canterbury U14 10

Folkestone U14’s went into this match still looking for their 1st win of the season. Folkestone started well from the kick off, putting pressure on Canterbury early, and for the first time this season were the first to score in a match. This gave the boys the confidence to pass the ball and make some strong runs and by half time they had scored a further 3 tries and converted 3 out of the 4, stretching their lead to 26-5, Canterbury having scored an unconverted try shortly before the whistle. The second half saw a further 5 tries, 1 converted, by Folkestone and another try for Canterbury, leading to a final score of 53-10. Despite this being the U14’s first win this season the boys have given 100% in every game and continued to play with determination and thoroughly deserve this win.

Conversions: Barney Mackenzie 4.
