Now three matches unbeaten for the U11s, so moving very much in the right direction.

This was the exhibition match at New Burlington field prior to the 1st XV League game. Now three matches unbeaten for the U11s, so moving very much in the right direction.
The match was extremely hard fought and well balanced. The first half finished scoreless with both defences remaining disciplined. In the second half Folkestone were enjoying most of the possession but as they moved to within 10 metres of the Ashford line and were looking favourites to score first, Ashford turned the ball over from a ruck and scored with a breakaway try. Folkestone put some intense pressure on a very solid Ashford defence and just before the final whistle got the break they deserved with a try scored by Kian Supple ensuring honours were even.
