It was foggy, the pitch was heavy with mud, but following on from last week’s strong display against Medway hopes were high for a strong performance from the Folkestone lads and they did not disappoint.
Aylesford arrived with a large squad, clearly determined to win, which they did. What they did not do was stop Folkestone’s development as a team which continues to improve week on week.
Such was the depth of Aylesford side, they were able to rotate the majority of positions, putting Folkestone’s fitness levels to the test. Come the end of the game it was clear Folkestone had had s tough game, yet given their all.
The coaches were able to learn a lot from the boys this week and we all look forward to see how Folkestone continue to develop and earn rewards for their hard work.
Well done Folkestone!
