U13's win in Calais & Etaples

U13s TOUR DE FRANCE April 25th/26th 2015

Last Weekend Folkestone U13s once again travelled on the annual pilgrimage to France
On the Saturday they played Calais and the Sunday played Etaples, the usual overwhelming hospitality was given to us by both clubs
With BBQs and a good spread of grub for the lads to try and weigh them down before going into battle

Playing two games against Calais
U12/13 was just what the boys wanted for a warm up with tries from:
Ollie Turner, Thomas Whelan, Lewis Dorrell, George Bass, James Hughes, Callan Little 2
Bringing the score to a respectable 35 – 15

After the interval they then took on the U14s

From the start the boys got stuck in and tries from:
Thomas Whelan, TJ Leather, Johnnie Hobbs, Lewis, Aurelian Austin plus 1 Aurelian Austin Conversion brought a fantastic game of rugby to a 2nd win for the Folkestone lads 27 – 10

Great day was had by both players and supporters

After a relaxed and Quiet breakfast (Supporters)

The Tourists took the trip down to Etaples, where they received the usual warm welcome and after more of the usual hospitality (Grub) the boys took on the Etaples U12/U13 and U13/U14 sides

With tries from: Ollie Turner, Thomas Whelan 2, Toby Wills, Finley Russell, Ciaran Hughes, James Leather, Joseph Faiers 2, TJ.Leather 2, Callan Little 2, Lewis Dorrell, James Hughes and with his Debut try Theo Dillon:
A total brought together to give the boys 95-0 and 2 Wins

For their final game of the Tour.
Etaples had arranged a Regional U14s Barbarian side for the boys to do battle with and again there was no let up by the Folkestone Lads as tries from:
Whelan 2, William Rayner, Callan Little, TJ Leather, Adam Butler, Freddie Faiers, Dylan Barnes, Lewis, and 8 Aurelian Austin Conversions brought another win 61-0

Yet again another great Tour for all but best of all GREAT RUGBY !!
