Folkestone under 13s welcomed Old Colfeians from South East London for a friendly match on Saturday 22nd March.

Folkestone were quick to impress their intentions from the start and dominated much of the play. Superb ball control and quick passing enabled the team to take charge and produce 5 tries in the first half thanks to Freddie Faiers (2), William Rayner, Harry Curtis and James Leather with two conversions courtesy of James Hughes.

The second half saw much of the same with Folkestone securing the majority of the possession leading to 5 more tries – Aurelien Austin, James Leather, Ciaran Hughes, Adam Butler and Ted Bean and two conversions from James Hughes. It was a pleasure to watch the boys play with fluidity and each try was attributable to the team as a whole.
