Early first half pressure from Dover and loose hands from Folkestone allowed the visitors to score an early try catching a Folkestone clearance to run over the try-line for 5-0.

Folkestone rucked and counter rucked superbly, ultimately paying off with Joseph Faiers given space to run in a try, converted by Thomas Reiner.
The second half continued in the same vein, both sides rucking an counter rucking well, both sides came close to scoring, Nikesh making a strong run before being tackled, while at the other end Harry Wells saved a the team's blushes with a man of the match winning full back performance.
