Will O'Donnell: I think the fact we had an average front row age of 19 and the fact they all kept going to the end was really good. No stand out performances as such, but good overall attitude and willingness, to improve and get back up after that loss.
Daniel Hillier: My own points regarding the game were that we were facing off against a much older, experienced side which was particularly noticeable in the pack as we were pushed off the scrum every time. Overall was a very close, tough game. The boys were disappointed to lose but came away thinking of the positives that we can improve on.
Daniel Hillier regarding his two tries: So my first try was from a clearance kick from Finn Peters and the ball bounced straight into my hands, just before the half way line, so I had to run about 50 metres to score the first try. My second try was from a play through the hands of most of the backs that developed into an overlap ending with me kicking the ball down field. The opposition let it bounce, then spilt the ball and I was able to pick up to run in from just outside the 22. I then converted for the extra two points.
Final score 12-24.
