Imperial....

A very well attended Wednesday session with Ricky and special guest star Kev Mackenzie at the Folkestone Academy kicked off the week.

A fair few U11s enjoyed parading around Wembley Stadium prior to the Saracens v Harlequins match on Saturday during a very well organised event from the U11s point of view. The boys enjoyed appearing on the big screens in front of thousands of spectators and in very close proximity to Saracens warming up before being seated and enjoying a masterclass from Owen Farrell inspiring Saracens to victory. Well done to Chris Ashton for scoring the first try, very much appreciated!

On Sunday we went through a hectic schedule, warm up, tackling, rucks and clearing out, passing, passing, passing and line outs.

Nothing for kitwatch and we appear to have found all of our balls to put in the newly acquired ball bag, so we'll try and keep hold of our balls until the end of the season.

There will be no midweek training for Under 11s on Wednesday this week.

Squads for the next two Sundays will be sent to all parents by separate email shortly. All players are guaranteed some competitive matches over the next fortnight, whether at Medway next Sunday, at home the following Sunday or both.

Finally - Player of the Week. This was hotly contested this week with a lot of boys getting mentions including Tom Cloke, Tom Reina and Cameron Brown, however, player of the week is Tom "TJ" Leather for being very disciplined, passing well and ensuring he carried the ball in the right areas, well done TJ!
