MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR
It is with great sadness that the club announces the passing of Andrew Beggs on Monday, 19th October.

Andrew had been involved with the club since its early days and played a significant role in the negotiations that helped secure the facilities we enjoy today. He was a long-standing supporter of the club in many ways, with his family contributing on the playing side and his wife, Sue, helping to establish the VP lunches in the club’s formative years.

Andrew's contribution, commitment and support over many years will be remembered with great affection by all who knew him.

Our thoughts are with Sue and their children, Tim, Jonathan and Nick, at what must be an incredibly difficult time.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been confirmed, but Sue has requested that in place of flowers, donations be made to the MND Association (Motor Neurone Disease).

We will share further details with members as appropriate.
