Playing gor the 3rd XV today at Maidstone Ricky Wincote took a big hitand an ambulance took him to hospital. I'm pleased to say that Ricky is fine. His dad, Richard has written to Web Towers:

Hi Phil. As promised, an update on Ricky. Just got back from Pembury Hospital. He was very concussed. They gave him the full range of tests including a CT scan. All vital signs are OK and to quote the report on the scan: No abnormality detected. The only problem is, he has total memory loss for the past six weeks. Remembers absolutely nothing of today and anything that has happened since the start of November. According to the staff at Pembury the memory should start to return as the shock wears off. Meanwhile he remembers nothing of the game or of the time spent in the ambulance or in the hospital. I'll keep you posted. And I cannot speak highly enough of the ambulance guys and of all the staff at Pembury. Cheers. Richard
