A MESSAGE FROM FITCHIE
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we bring the season to a close, I wanted to personally take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you.
Your continued support has been invaluable, whether cheering from the sidelines, helping with lifts, braving the weather, or simply encouraging your child to show up, try hard, and enjoy the game. Grassroots rugby only works because of people like you.
This season we’ve seen fantastic growth across the club, from the introduction of Little Ruckers, our girls-only Folkestone Falcons. More children in every age group are playing, smiling, learning, and building friendships than ever before. And with that, our commitment to the club’s mission has never been stronger:
Changing Lives Through Rugby
That’s more than just a slogan. It means creating a safe, inclusive, values-led environment where every child, regardless of background, ability or confidence, feels part of something special. Rugby is the tool, but the life skills it builds, teamwork, respect, resilience, confidence , are what stay with them.
This season, we’ve launched new sessions in schools, expanded playing opportunities, created new teams, and continued to reinforce the standards and values that define our club. And we’ll keep building.
A special thank you to those of you who continued and joined as coaches, team managers, first aiders, parent reps and volunteers, your contribution shapes the experience every child has here.
We’ll be in touch with summer activities, events and the new season calendar, but for now, enjoy a well-earned break, and please know how much we appreciate you being part of our rugby family.
Warm regards,
Leigh Fitchie-Andrews
Director of Junior Rugby & CCC
