Nick at universal fireworks has created and carried out his fabulous displays for 15 years. We were his very first full blown display back in the day ,and he has adapted to our needs helping the club raise much needed revenue keeping the club on the straight and narrow.
It’s with sadness that Nick phoned me two days ago, telling me he has been very ill and in hospital .He has decided not to carry on with displays due to his situation, and has had to cancel displays at the Venetian fate and the Sandgate sea festival.

I asked for recommendations for a replacement and Nick recommended Jubilee Fireworks, that being his only recommendation. They are unfortunately booked for the whole weekend of the 3rd November.

I will seek out other suppliers, but as you can imagine the weekend of the 3rd is already booked by most qualified, insured displays. The one thing I do not want to do is downgrade the standards that we are all used to, so this years event will not go ahead.
I will endeavour to seek out another company for next year and I’m sure we all send our thanks to Nick for his support wishing him a full recovery in the near future.
