The Joy Lane Clinic was established by Charlie Bannigan. He graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 2003, completed a masters degree in sports injury medicine in 2009 and more recently qualified in peripheral joint injection therapy.
Before becoming an osteopath Charlie played semi-professional rugby where he developed an interest in sports related injuries and rehabilitation.
He now treats athletes from various sporting backgrounds such as rugby, football, cricket, athletics and netball - ranging from the amateur to the professional. He worked with the Kent County Rugby Football Union and Canterbury Rugby Club from 2003 to 2011 and is now the clinician at Folkestone Rugby Club.
Our success can be measured on the fact that over 75% of our business come through personal recommendation from our patients, these include office workers, pregnant ladies, the older patient, sports amateurs and professionals and many self-employed for whom good health is critical for the health of their business.
