Rugby returns to Burlington Field on Saturday 17th October as Folkestone Rugby Club 1st XV host Medway 2nd XV in their first home league fixture of the season, with kick-off likely to be scheduled for 3pm (tbc).

Folkestone will be looking forward to running out in front of their home supporters and building some early momentum in the league campaign. With both sides eager to secure valuable points, spectators can expect a competitive and entertaining encounter as Folkestone look to make home advantage count.

SPECIAL EXHIBITION MATCH
Following the conclusion of the league fixture, attention will turn to a special exhibition match featuring touring Dutch side RC Octopus Uden, long-standing friends of Folkestone Rugby Club. The visitors will take on a Folkestone Select XV in what promises to be a fun and competitive fixture celebrating the strong friendship between the two clubs. Matches against RC Octopus have become a valued tradition over the years, and the visit provides another opportunity to strengthen those ties both on and off the field.

The clubhouse bar will be open throughout the day, serving a food and drinks for supporters and visitors alike.
