After having to 'fight' to be placed in the top division the U17s have thoroughly justified the club officials who backed their claim to be in Division One rather than Division Two.
With only Blackheath still to play Sevenoaks it will take a bonus point win by the 'Club' to pinch second spot from Trolley's lads.
So regardless of whether they remain in second or drop one to third it is a fantastic season for the U17s!
League 1
Team Played Won Points Diff Bonus Points
Old Elthamians A 7 7 78 3 31
Folkestone 7 4 20 5 24
Blackheath 6 3 21 3 19
Bromley A 7 3 -6 4 19
Dartfordians A 7 2 -11 5 19
Sevenoaks 6 3 7 3 17
Canterbury 7 3 -28 1 17
Westcombe Park 7 1 -81 2 11
This now sets up the U17s with a fixture (home or away - tba) against either Medway, Gravesend or Deal (dependent on last remaining results from the Development league) in the first round of the Cup competition to be played on February 5th
Good luck from all at Folkestone RFC, and if its a home draw hopefully a good turnout of supporters for the match
