We, as a club, are participating in the RFU volunteer day on the 23rd of this month. I have identified various repair/refurbishment jobs around the club to keep us looking good for next season and for upcoming events. Can I please request that you make an effort and support your club from 8am till 3pm on that day, we will be supplying tea and coffee, along with some BBQ food at around 12 00.
I have some volunteer tee shirts to give out, and we need photos with you all looking your best for the Kent RFU Newsletter.
We will then have a pint (or two) watching England white wash the Springbok’s on the big screen to finish off the day.
I do need someone to take charge of the main gate repair, as it needs to come out and be reset in concrete, but the rest of the jobs will be grass and hedge cutting/painting/tarmac laying /yellow line marking etc. etc.. So not too much expertise required so all can get involved. The club will supply all safety equipment, but please bring garden brooms/shovels/reflective tabards/rakes/gloves and any other equipment hedge trimmers/brush cutters etc that you might have.
Please reply to me direct firstname.lastname@example.org
Let’s make a big effort from all parts of YOUR club to make a difference this year.
I look forward to your replies.
