At last we have a return to sanity as "summer" draws to a close and the rugby resumes. First up on Tuesday 16 August for Darrens' boys is a very tough away preseason friendly at mighty Canterbury.

As usual we are light in the front row. Mat Roots, Daz Short, Josh Martin, Pat Smith where are you?

Darren will use the game to give as many players as possible a chance to impress. We will also have the chance to see our new Foreign Legionnaires in action.

Not much of a rest for the players as following the trip to Canterbury on Saturday 20 August we have a visit from Fullerians who have been promoted to London NW2 this season. So that's going to be a tough one too. That game kicks off at 3pm. The Fullerians lads are staying in Folkestone for the night after the game so we hope our lads and lassies will get together to show them some typical Folkestone pleasures. There will be free entrance to Club Onyx for all the players and supporters that night.
