On the 14th and 15th of May 2016 nearly 260 members of the Folkestone Rugby Club “Minis” and Under 14s went to France to play in a Rugby Tournament at Bethune.

Folkestone were the overall winners of the tournament and the Ducasse Challenge Cup, having accumulated the most winning matches. The tournament was well attended with 17 clubs from France, Belgium and the Netherlands taking part.

It was a valuable and enjoyable opportunity for the children to play against teams from other countries. They were great ambassadors for English rugby and it was an auspicious end to the season.
