Folkestone 66 Sheppey 0

Sheppey travelled with a big squad to FRC, it is good to see they are building their numbers healthily.

The rugby was a little one sided, Folkestone opened with a Charlie Stratford try, followed by one from Louis Santer and a further from Charlie both converted by Josh Palmer to take FRC to 19 points at half time.

It didnt all go Folkestone's way, Sheppey have some really big forwards, who were very strong and made good yards. Sheppey also had a try held up by Tyler Russell, after an excellent chase to the line.

The second half showed that Sheppey had not lost any spirit, and to their credit they played on despite a barrage of FRC trys, the next being from Josh Palmer, converted by Josh Palmer.

Charlie, Teds Morris Tyler Russell, and Harry Wren all going over the line, providing seven trys and six conversions in the second half.

Man of the match was Luke Thorpe, our own Thorpedo, who's work rate in scrum and loose is outstanding and showed he can run and gain yards as well.

Trys; Charlie Stratford 4 Harry Wren 2 Josh Palmer Louis Santer Tyler Russell, and last but not least there is only one..... Teds Morris.
